The spider weaves, the silkworm weaves, and Life weaves for each of us. But is it Life that weaves, or am I the one weaving through Life?
To me, it seems that as time moves forward, my relationships with people and things evolve. But I think that’s how it’s meant to be. Today, we are one way; tomorrow, better (I always hope so). But in this image, we’re simply different… different because we find ourselves in a new scenario at every moment.
Imagine being any of the colours in the image—caramel, navy, or wine—and see how they behave differently in “Two Moments.” In our professional world, we have one role, one representation. We may be more outgoing or more reserved, cautious or bold. In our family setting, we take on another role entirely. We can embody peace or stress.
In any case, it’s our stance that designs the weaving that belongs to us. Now tell me—what would your Life’s fabric look like today? Add your boss, your employee, your mother, your neighbour… each one as a different thread, each in a unique colour. Then weave them all together. What kind of pattern do you think it would create?
